Keep Posted

Keep Posted vs Famileo

A Famileo alternative for Australian families

If Grandma & Grandpa live in Australia, Keep Posted is an Australian alternative to Famileo. Both turn the family's photos and news into a printed paper that arrives in the letterbox. The main differences: Keep Posted is printed in Australia, priced in Australian dollars and posts only to Australian addresses, once a month. Famileo is based in France, costs less, offers fortnightly and weekly editions, and posts anywhere in the world.

When is Famileo the better choice?

When is Keep Posted the better choice?

What do both services have in common?

Both take the photos and news that usually stay in the family group chat and put them on paper for grandparents. In both, Grandma & Grandpa don't need a phone, an app or a login: the paper simply arrives in their letterbox. Both let the whole family contribute, and neither locks you in.

How to switch from Famileo to Keep Posted

  1. Start a paper, choose a plan and add Grandma & Grandpa's address.
  2. Invite the family with a link. Everyone posts a photo and a few words from their phone.
  3. Keep your Famileo subscription until the last gazette you want has gone out, then cancel it under "Manage subscription" in your Famileo account (only the account manager can do this).
  4. We make it into a printed paper, usually posted early each month.
